Time to get back to some serious inspiration and move on with our blog,  After a long break I believe it's time to do some serious blogging and have some  posts running off my I-pad. Even though it's fall now I just wanted to dream away with some new amazing  spring summer looks spotted at the Milan fashion week! These are my absolute favor Created by Martine

While relaxing on my terrace last weekend on a sunny Sunday I came to the conclusion that if we are changing the floor ( we decided finally to change the floor inside as well as outside so the living room-kitchen and terrace will be renewed in light grey  big 60/60 size natural rough stone tiles, industrial concrete effect ) we definitely need to make some drastic changes on the terrace as well and the below DIY concrete planters are just perfect. They are simple, natural and plain and look great with succulents which are pretty much the only plant that survive on the terrace in winter ( cold and dry) and summer ( warm and dry)  time! I found the below idea's on Pinterest some of them are also available at the garden centres, just in case I feel too lazy I might just buy them, and fill them up with some white small stones. I run into this place by accident ( located at Spotorno a small beach village at the Liguarian seaside in Italy) and  I really loved the whole concept, the whitewash wooden furniture, the big cotton sheets used as a umbrella. Also the idea of using different chairs and couches to sit and relax on is looking great, it gives me lots of inspiration for a DIY balcony or terrace decoration. It's simple yet it has luxury and relaxing outcome and I love that there are so many details that makes this place really different from the usual beach places. Created by  Martine

It has been a while since I created a more personal post, and as yesterday was one of those late sunny Sunday afternoon days visiting my mother in law who lives at the country side, I ended up with some great pictures to share. Their garden is full of grapes and cherry trees so today we spent all afternoon picking them from the trees. We ended up with 3 baskets full of beautiful and delicious cherries. Created by Martine
