SLA = salad in Dutch , when I spotted this website the three words they mention under their shop name Eat.Share.Live draw my attention right away as they're eyecatching, inspiring, and most of all matching our blog title. It seems a fantastic place (as unfortunately I've never been there) where you can have a great natural lunch or dinner . Nina Pierson and Jop van de Graaf, founders of SLA made it something much more then this as besides the beautiful interior surrounded by green and wood, they give interesting workshops aswell. Summer is ending and soon we will enter into these days , foggy, rainy, chilly begin of fall. Fall feelings will dig in and the days are getting shorter. To be honest I never like those days, I would love to have one every now and then during the summer knowing that the next day the sun will shine again, but those days that turn into weeks of rain and grey days are getting me down. Starring at this photo it give me a cosy and warm feeling I imagine myself inside my home staring on the bench outside drinking a warm cappuccino, the week has ended and the weekend starts......... but sofar please let me just enjoy summer for just a little more ! Late afternoon, heavy rain just stopped and you can smell the fresh but foggy air. The colors are grey and getting more and more intense, you can hear some heavy drops falling from the last leafs of the trees that surrounds me. Fall is on the way ,late afternoon, walking the dog, rain drops are making the noise of a crispy bag on leafs lots, lots of leafs, they come in all colors and all kinds of shapes. I collect stones from almost everywhere and I can not resist searching for them, they give me a good feeling when I find the perfect round shaped completely clean stone. They may be little, round,oval,heart shaped but they must be absolutely perfect, also the colour matters. Not just any colour no it must be either perfect white as snow or slightly beige , dark or light grey or even black as long as they are perfect. The last time I took a few I was on holiday on the island of Elba in front of the Tuscany coast in Italy there was this little beach created by stones that where pretty much all perfect ..........but I managed to take home only about 15 perfect stones. Ones I bring them home I have no idea where to put them I got some on my side table in the bed room, a few on my terrace, some in the kitchen and they are not just lying there they need to be stapled in the perfect way!                       ...

I love note books and little journals in one of my very first posts I mentioned this and my collection expands itself bit by bit. Now that spring is getting closeer and closer it's time to get some inspiration ready for our garden and terrace make over. One of those places you walk by and everytime you just have to stop and look at it for a second. I love this place never actualy eaten here but I just love the construction and the simplicity of it, build up with natural wood in a marvelous colour shade of blue which makes me dream away about the south of France eventhough we're still in Italy. I like the round wooden windows and the simple lightning used on the outside terace, the amazing view right at the beach makes it a beautiful place, no idea how the food is but perhaps we just have to give it a try sooner or later....... 25 February.....exactly one year ago me and Marzia started our first blog. After almost 140 posts, more then 8000 viewers and almost 1000 followers on  Pinterest  I'm still as excited as I was writing my first post. Even though I don't receive a lot of comments I sincerely hope you love reading my posts as much as I do writing it, I hope my pictures are getting better ( still not using as much as I would of my own photography but we're working on it) and hopefully my posts have improved by the months. And am counting the weeks of the new page of LFS on-line , keep you posted!                                                                 ...

After a view days I purchased my new reflex camera I just became madly in love with it. Yet still so far away from the real shooting I'm really enjoining every minute of it by going just right outside my home and capture nature and places around it ( and Italy is realy amazingly beautiful ). I wanted to share these shoots without too many words ( as I usually like to add some thoughts to all my posts I believe that it's time to just be quiet and share the moment.....   Created by Martine
