It's 100%winter outside , it supposed to be snowing on 2nd Christmas day but it's grey and rainy. Perfect day for browsing the web on the hunt for some Sunshine and inspiration , just had to take a look at the new ready to wear collection of Elie Saab. Do I just love these dresses , simple white in combination with a concentration of flowers is just making me dream away of the early spring ......                                               Get really inspired by these beautiful dresses of Elie Saab which is my favourite designer as all his designs are extremely feminine and they just make you look gorgeous,even though I most probably will never be able to own one ,just let me dream away every time the new collection is there.....                                                                 Created by Martine

It's been a while that I took my camera along and enjoyed the first walk in the snow. So last weekend we finally got out there, even though it was a short day it was enough to make you feel good and to breath some real fresh air. We went to visit Gressonay  which find itself at the bottom of the Monte Rosa here below on the background. At an altitude of 1.644 M Gressonay La Trinitè is the highest village in Lys valley, the beauty of this spot is at a certain time of the afternoon the Monte Rosa turns actually pink as the the name states, however I had to leave too early to capture this, but this little town is a fantastic place to just have a relaxing walk , there is a small lake where you can go ice skating surrounded by huge pines.                 Created by Martine

Malamen Restaurant - Mexico City It's one of those places that has a great story, and while having your lunch you can't stop looking around you as the walls are just one big art museum. Every wall is just stunning and I love the simple and relaxing entrance. The Photographer Jaime Navarro   just captured it perfectly in all his pictures, just love the DIY idea of the wall with the 96 black & White portraits made by Marco Collin , or the wall with just empty white wooden frames, there are so many different details that makes it a very special place....it's a pity that Mexico is just so far away!  Created by Martine Source Yatzer

Denim, Denim and more Denim as al ready stated in my previous post on Denim 24/7 I just can't get enough of  Denim. I found the website of this Denim brand while searching for some latest Denim trends and I love their website www.denhamthejeanmaker.com. Denham was founded by an English men Jason Denham who esthablished Denham in the city of Amsterdam in 2008. They mix denim modernism with workers tradition and use excellent Italian  denim Fabrics. Have a look at their amazing interiors that run through all their Denham shops , industrial, trendy, innovative and so much more then that. I must warn you  as it's extreme difficult to resist purchasing from their website and not only denim! In my previous post on PHOTOGRAPHY BLACKBOARD  I run into a flower shop but other then these I also can not resist in entering a wine shop. Tasting wine is something Iearned upon my arrival in Italy, every now and the  we are visiting one of those famous wine cellars where you can have an aperetivo and taste the wine which adventualy you can buy for a very good price as well. However the photographer of this gorgeous shop The Urban Grape which I found by browsing through some blogs , here I noticed these photographs of Justine which are just reflecting the clean image of the indurstial yet colourfull interior. Winter is here and so is the Fur and faux fur! Just some impressions to get you in the mood for soft and warm fur during winter time, from your interior till your wardrobe its everywhere. Now that fall is fading away and the winter starts to show up it's time to bring our home in the winter mood. Without running straight to the Christmas decoration I like to add a few winter items in my home, it started already by bringing out the cosy comfy fur blankets and with some very simple and easy DIY decorations you can make your home ready for long winter evenings at home. These glass transparent ornaments with feathers inside are just marvellous, I bought some similar ones a long time ago with instead of feathers they had little pineapples inside, but these with feathers are just awesome. DIY and buy transparent glass Christmas ornaments and put some feathers inside. DIY  square and rectangular high and low vases and fill them with pineapples and some branches of wood, you can spray them with some white or even silver paint to get the winter effect. DIY with long thin branches you can leave them either in natural colour

I Run into this Photographer  Mikael Axelsson  by accident while browsing on the web and I felt in love with the way he captures everything. Check out this beautiful flower shop in Stockholm Landed Jarna  ( that should deserve a post on its own) that was photographed by Mikael. The style of this shop is just beautiful it's definitely one of my favourite interiors for a flower shop so pure and simple , love the DIY idea of hang up dry thistles on the ceiling just looks really great.  Created by Martine

HOME & DECOR: Sharing Home Concept Amsterdam Just wanted to share this fantastic home in the Netherlands , renovated from a studio atelier complex to a beautiful warm natural minded home in Amsterdam. Together with the architect John guy van Keulen the owner managed to re-use many materials such as the old bricks and create this gorgeous home. Love the floor made of concrete with a special Epoxy coating on top,as well as the white neutral wood used throughout the entire home. The bedroom is just perfect and i love the fact they used some accessories of Ikea ( bed lamp) and Zara (plaid) as well as usually in the magazines you just find yourself in the designer world way beyond our budget. The old wooden entrance door has been taken from an old French country home, absolutely stunning and how about the shutters in the kitchen ( could be an easy DIY item) !                                                Styling Marianne Luning/photography Ji
