Getting in the mood for a lazy summer vacation at the country side........ A fter my previous post on Urban Comfy I just want to inspire everyone who goes  to live a complete different Holiday this summer and is headed for the country side to enjoy those   long and lazy summer afternoon moments....... Some time ago I shared some nature photography with you and I  just went back again to this beautiful place. It's almost time to go, this year it will be a real family trip to Holland by car as our summer holiday won't be a long distance adventure but just down to earth basic Holland! And for that you definitely need to adjust your suitcase :  travel bags as no suitcase aloud when travelling by car with kids. So this means a certain strategy:                                                            URBAN COMFY    I love to wear comfy items when I'm in my home country build up with layers ,long maxi jersey skirts or dresses, long tees and singlets, must be the weather which can change about 10 times a day so you always need to be prepared for sun ,wind,clouds,warm and cold moments but I believe it's also the way Dutch are dressing in comparison with Italian .....just a world of difference. Also the shoes & accessories are changing when driving up north, love to bring my ankle boots and converse ,combine them with the maxi skirts and shorts or

Now that the summer season is here, I love to sit on my terrace after dinner, have a glass of wine (or two) and just relax and enjoy an evening at home. I have a real love for  candles, candle holders, wind lights, and everything that has do do with candle light, I have my terrace full with these big wind lights and candle holders as I can't just resist every time I see one just slightly different. When I moved to Italy you would be surprised how much of them I brought along as at that time other then Ikea you couldn't really find anything within a reasonable budget for your home or outdoor living. Now a days you see them pretty much every where  and just in case...... you always have the web shops for some last minute garden party! I personally adore these three brands which you can buy either online or in many garden centers now  Riverdale  ,  Potterybarn , Zara Home   below pictures from my Pinterest board.   As anticipated in my previous post , I tried to collect some photographs of country's and places I visited and captured.  Shanghai area is the place I used to go a lot for business and also one of the places I never really visited the way you should because of a lack of time, however last time I managed to get up early enough to be able to visit a temple in the Nantong area, the left/middle pictures are taken there , the place was amazing it gave you the real Z en feeling! The pictures on the upper right sight where taken at Shanghai down town it's a stunning little shop with "I-need-to-buy-all" little things, right down under a beautiful furniture shop at Jiaxing.         Dhaka Bangladesh is one of the places I have seen the most frequent and for many years now, it's a city that has grown a lot the last 5 years it's huge, it's crowded, it's full of culture and colours, it's beautiful and ugly at the same time.   I thought it's time I give you all a closer look into my personal life while I was wondering about my next post I started making a collage of Bits & Pieces of my personal travel Journals. I love to travel and I have to do it for my job but whenever possible we go out there our self as well for Holiday. Even though it has been a while now I adore looking back old pictures of the past and go back for a moment to the smell, the culture and the nature of each country. I Always try to see as much as possible sometime just from the window of a cab that takes me from the airport straight to work but every occasion is a life experience that I won't forget and try to capture every moment of it. On my next posts I'll share just a few for now as I'm trying to re-photograph old pictures from my albums as at that time the digital camera was not my travel partner yet...... After so much nature and being however a fashion addict I'm in the need for a severe sequin-overdose! And with the summer sale on it's way I'm sure to find what I'm looking for. J'Adore Sequins as you can mix and match them with everything, keep it casual with just a sequin top or tank top on a pair of jeans, or a sequin mini skirt with a long oversize cashmere sweat. Also love the above all dressed up for a summer party with a gorgeous evening dress or more urban with a long skirt and tee or tank top. I would love to find a long maxi sequins skirt like these....definitely going on a mission this weekend.....keep you posted. C reated by Martine

  I just adore this picture I captured in the mountains where went during the weekend at Bardonecchia . It's actually the place where Marzia frequently goes during the winter period for snowboarding . We went back there after many many years and now I would love to come back more often as  it's just beautiful in this time of the year.
