Old and abandoned, but beautiful to me! If I ever could afford it this would be my dream house, located in my town right in the centre. Garden and front gate , the entire house is absolutely stunning and could become an amazing home. I love the old characteristic front balcony . It's not a very big construction but it gives me a warm feeling. While photographing it it just makes me really like to have a look inside just wondering around and dream away........who knows , never say never in your life. With love mft

An eye for details is what I love when I'm out there in the fields. The most simple things in nature can draw my attention wondering around while having a walk. Sometimes an explosion of colors sometimes a tiny butterfly or just a fresh fallen raindrop on a grass leaf....... With love mft

Late afternoon, heavy rain just stopped and you can smell the fresh but foggy air. The colors are grey and getting more and more intense, you can hear some heavy drops falling from the last leafs of the trees that surrounds me. The sun is coming through and little by little everything turns back to life......... With love mft

STOCKHOLM SURROUNDED BY LAKE MALAREN AND BALTIC SEA, STOCKHOLM CONSISTS OF 14 ISLANDS AND IS CONNECTED BY 57 BRIDGES........ This alone already made me wanna leave right away. Christmas is just along the way and I believe the city is a beautiful in the summer as it is in the winter time, even though I got told it will be dark at 3 pm it will be cold and most probably rainy this all doesn't scare a Dutch travel junky. So now I'm planning my next trip and browsing on the web for some good tips I run into a fabulous blog of " stockholm-what-to-know-before-you-go " it's very handy and down to earth, compact and full of all basic info you need to know before you leave. It's early out there in the fields, a bit chill and silence around you. Eye for details thats all it takes at this time of the day in a plain and simple field, tiny little dawn drops are covering this fragile piece of nature. 10 minutes outside the city centre of Turin, you find yourself in a different time, back in time. This gorgeous place was the Hunting residence of Turin back in the 18th century and designed by the architect Filippo Juvara in 1729.  See also my previous post on the special event that took place here. with love mft

Fall is on the way ,late afternoon, walking the dog, rain drops are making the noise of a crispy bag on leafs lots, lots of leafs, they come in all colors and all kinds of shapes. Japanese shopping malls, this one is just an amazing place where green meets architecture. Perfection and harmony are brought together in this fantastic mall . The green of the plants along with the shape of the building , the colors of the materials used, contrasts  it's just . Simply a very inspiring place to check out. with love mft

Vicenza, small town nearby Venezia , old beautiful, architectural, amazing history a real treasure hidden between many places. 10 minutes walk from the railway station , had to wait an hour for the next train so decided to have a walk. This little walk ended up to be one of those relaxing discovery's of a place I never thought was worth seeing . It has many old precious buildings you can see a lot of Venice in this small town, ended up in trendy industrial bar inside an old jewelry laboratory, museum and small shops. Just wonder around and you will notice many little streets that come together in a gorgeous piazza right at the centre of this historical town. with love mft

Fall .....getting foggy outside, colder there is a breeze and almost afternoon before the sun gets through. Getting ready for an other trip either work or free time, a weekend away to the lake so need a comfy but classy outfit and these pants and knitwear seems just perfect. Noticed this set at Vogue  in the fashion show presentation of Bruno Cucinelli. Would combine it also with dark grey and a more intense and warm blue.......... with love mft

I felt in love with this fantastic Dutch concept store for flowers, they present their flowers in a paper bag on a garment hanger made of wood. the flowers hang with their ends in a steel rail that contains the water, it's absolutely beautiful to just have a look in this shop and my next trip to my home country will definitely include a visit to their concept pop-up store, it seems they change their location frequently. Look at these amazing photo's, and  the colours of these tulips are just making me dream of spring. Do I miss my Holland when it comes to flowers!! However they do have also  their normal website where you can order your flower s  https://www.24flower.nl/index.php  ,but ones entred their site it ain't that normal at all it has been developped verry easy and clear while placing your order, unfortunately they don't deliver in Italy. Early Sunday morning walking the dog out , it's foggy and cold there is a huge silence around us but at this time of the morning that's all we need. While walking more upwards the hills I found myself above the small town Pecetto, and from there the fog created a blanket covering the town. Every minute the sun was coming through more clear and the landscape changed along with it. With love mft

It has been a while that I posted something and it's time to make a new start to try some new things and the first step towards this is my brand new Mac Air! Finally after all those years I could afford one and just couldn't wait to work with it. So here I am together with my new friend and the first thing I wanted to take up on was my blog which I have been neglected for a long time. so new start new tools and completely new look.......... I love to share these two fantastic places Livigno in the north of Italy and St-Morits , where I stayed for a short trip right after new year. It was my first time at Livigno but it's a great place to visit with not only lots of nice and unique shops as well as lots to do for active persons, you could make a great trip on the back of a horse on the ice and snow fields in the middle of the city center, ice skating, skiing , snowboarding basically everything, but te part I loved the most was just simply the nature , surrounded by beautiful mountains.... During our short stay we took the red train The Bernina Express  from Tirano to St-Morits, a simple but incredible journey through the mountains that I recommend to everyone at any time of the year as the view is absolutely stunning. The perfect place for a relaxing hike in the mountains, yes indeed relaxing as I'm not that big climbing and hiking fan so little by little and a small distance and height at a time will do just fine for me. Pian del Re a beautiful nature reserve is in the north of Italy nearby Turin, it's where the river the Po starts it's way through Italy. Half way through you will be able to have lunch at a   Baita  which will offer you a stunning view, nearby there are hundreds of little ice-water streams where you can have a break while preparing yourself for the second part of the climbing up to a beautiful green lake ( of which I'll come back to you with a separate post ) Created and captured with love  mft

There is only one way for me to set my mind free......on the back of a horse! I had a great experience this spring at  Ibiza Horsevalley  located in a smal valley nearby st.Gertrudis you find an oase of relax surrounded by horses. In case you never felt the "love for horses" these two wonderfull people Monique & David will show you how to build respect for horses and how to understand the way they think and live. The save all kind of horses from the Island and little by little they give them back their lives and freedom.                                                                                                                                                                                   During my short spring break at Ibiza I run into this fantastic concept store SLUIZ  at St-Gertrudis a little village nearby Ibiza Town. In front of the shop they have a garden full with huge blue cows and yes the owners are Dutch! Inside this amazing concept store other then the fact that it's really big, they have such a fun objects some really extreme others are just very clever such as a big old water tank transformed into illumination ( photograph here below) . I felt in love with these giant French buldog for on my terrace ......                                                           with love  mft
