I've always had an unbridled passion for the jewelry but I don't sincerely like the expensive and striking one , that looks to me too much "bling bling". I love the unconventional jewels, those can alone mark out a look,  especially if they are of ethnic inspiration and I don't care if they are blue-chip or not ( for my wallet the second option is always the best one ). I like to buy them wherever it happens, in shops or on the web ; my favorite shop ever is a very small one called La Turchese, which is located where we have a Seaside family house and whose owner spent the entire winter period by travelling in far and fascinating places to find out the jewels that sells after in the Summer.  Recently I started browsing some e-commerce websites like Etsy , The Fancy or Svpply  , where you can find very nice jewelry at affordable prices, or you can either check on Poppytalk Handmade  , a sort of monthly handcraft market. If you only buy one summer dress it might aswell be a maxi dress! Either inspired on the amazing cute mille fleurs dresses here below all from Dolce & Gabbana, or headed to the bohemain new look down under (first and last dresses are all Roberto Cavalli's , middle dresses from Pinterest ), straight to a very simple but gorgeous dress I found on pinterest from paul Smith and love this one from etsy.com  it's a silk wrinkled chiffon maxi dress with flowers and a huge black bow , followd by romantic simplicity as the one from  Gucci floral printed silk georgette maxi dress but I ended up buying the Jungle version of the H&M conscious collection Catwalk style for a high street price! All these dresses are timeless to me, they will change from print to one season and an other but they will always be a trend for each summer. Created by Martine

At the other end people want to get back to the minimal nature materials and colours in their home to bring back some old furniture re-polished and painted in natural colours, lot of leather vintage furniture combined with soft light linen fabrics. The Home decoration trend will be brought straight from the jungle  fashion to our homes. I created a mood board for some great very simple DIY idea's . Just below a cute keyholder , the grass frame from design accessories web shop,dinning chair from Furnies  they have fantastic furniture on line, Dylan to dye your curtains or cushions in the perfect botanical jungle green colour. Botanical Jungle green Above  Stockholm & other green vases from Ikea, some inspirational interiors from Pinterest, the fantastic umbrella I found on the internet but couldn't trace the nature of it. Plan that weekend trip just for you and him, take the car and just take off without knowing where your heading. Buy every single fashion and home decor magazine you can find. Eat all you can at the aperetivo bar so with 10 euro you had a great dinner. Clean up your wardrobe and give away everything you didn’t wear for the last 3 years so you can buy new. Just say out loud you hate watching those pre and after soccer match TV shows and watch Heidi if you feel up to it. Making a three hours phone call to your mum who you just called the day before. Having the guy of the local bakery let you know you just look gorgeous today. Having lunch at a small bar where they serve warm little bread rolls with just butter and salt. Seeing a small bunny running at an open field while you drive home. Watching the red sun come up at 7.30 am on your way through the hills while you’re on the way to work. created by Martine
