During a short stay in Holland while wondering around in my favourite garden centre I run into the PTMD  collection (check out their website www.ptdm.nl where I took below trend on home decor) This autumn will be packed with overlapping colours, or 'Latte' finishes. Although this trend has its origins in the fashion industry, it's sure to find its own niche in interior design. Latte finishes look gorgeous in fabrics and are stunning when used with glass and ceramics. The Excellent collection is the one I love most the beautiful light blue-grey colours and irregular shape using  different finishes and techniques they transformed a normal plate into a piece of art. Scheveningen...... every time I go back to Holland for a few days I need to visit a few places and one of them is Scheveningen for the beach, surfing and lunch at Simonis fish restaurant . It's like a ritual I need to walk on the beach if it's sunny rainy or extremely windy I just need to feel the sea air and check out the surfers. With love mft All photography by mft 

When summer fades away colours are changing, the leafs changing colours from green to bright red ending their lifes with dark yellow and slowly turn into brown when they are left alone on the cold ground. The smell of the morning dawn when you wake up on a sunny saterday morning. It's time to pull out our beanies and long soft cachemere sweaters, making plans for the winter weekends, or get out in nature and capture all the beautiful moments.......I SIMPLY LOVE FALL .                         It has been a while and while going back on this blog I found myself wondering where it was going.... It started as a very personal blog with bits and pieces about my life and little by little it became..well it became just not me anymore. I was trying to hard to create something that is just not working if you can't be yourself. So today I thought perhaps its time to go back again and re-start where I left. I love photography, fashion, nature, travelling so that's where I need to go back to! The above picture I took while walking my dog on an early morning while everything is still perfect.
