Here they are........ After the Maxi Dress & the Ultimate Shorts we need to do some serious sharing on cute must have summer dresses, despites the fact that the Italian summer seems still far away ( moved to Italy to have a nice spring and followed by a long summer but yet here we are no spring at all and today I'm actually wearing some heavy knitwear but it doesn't hold us back on dreaming of the summer though) So here below my personal view of what we absolutely must have before the sun gets through: F loral Freshness N ude Motives S oft Summer Breeze   B ohemian New Look Prints     U rban Style Sight Created by Martine

It has been a while since I wrote about some nice places I visited, but this weekend me and my husband finally planned a weekend at the seaside. As we where heading towards our final destination a place called Lavagna which finds itself at the Ligurian seaside close to the famous Cinque Terre, the weather was not really collaborating however we made a quick stop at Rapallo where we had some wine and appetisers before we went on.     We headed for lavagna where we booked a hotel  nearby the Harbour, the afternoon we went to visit the Cinque terre but the weather became extreme cold and it started to rain aswell ( pretty strange for the time of the year), I didn't manage to take any pictures and we just got back to the hotel and relax. The next morning we had a perfect blue sky so we decided to go to a cute little place called Camogli it's about 20 Km from Genova on our way back and when I first visited it about 20 years ago it was love at first sight.  

I LOVE FLOWERS... so that's out there I really love flowers! Must be the Dutch blood inside me but I just can't live in an environment without flowers. I love their smell, their look, their colours, there way of bringing life into mine. I buy every month fresh flowers, should be every week but in Italy I just can't find my way around, besides the local market in Chieri of which I'm sure to be one of their best clients there is not realy a flower culture, I remember when I was little my father brought my mum fresh roses every friday. I also love to capture flowers with my camera or just my smartphone will do, anywhere I am at any time up close or from a major distance they are all attractive to me. Some "green" pictures I took during this Sunday break at a small place called Baldichieri nearby Asti, we had a family lunch at an old renovated farm and the environment was just amazing it was a sunny day but after the rain set in it was even more green outside so I just started to take some pictures with my smart phone, after which I finally made up my mind....I wanna buy myself a new digital photo camera this summer as I really need to create these kind of photographs they are all so simple and pure, but I'm still finding out what would be the best one to buy as I'm such a beginner on a auto reflex camera ( if anyone has some tips I'm very anxious to find out). Buy a huge basket of strawberry’s and whip cream for lunch and just forget you are actually still at work. Invite all your friends for an aperetivo on your terrace now that spring has arrived! Have a French manicure. Bring your kids to sleep extra early this evening and have a candle light dinner for you and him. Buy a Tiffany & Co charm just for yourself. Full up your balcony with so many green plants it seems a jungle, even if it’s just a tiny little one. Have that relaxing bath of at least 3 hours with herbs and rose petals switch your I-Pod on and forget the world around you. Make summer holiday plans. Go to the mountains one more time to enjoy the last bits of beautiful white snow before it will all turn green again. Walk bare feet wherever you can. Created by Martine
