Bits & Pieces of my Travel Journal: LA VENARIA REALE

A Day at La Venaria Reale & La Mandria.

Last Sunday we went for a walk as it was one of those grey foggy autumn Sundays and we just went outside for some air and had a walk in the beautiful park of La Mandria and its small characteristic old city centre Venaria that runs into The Reggia of Venaria Reale and the Royal Residence of La Mandria.
The Reggia is a beautiful baroque styled palace that inspired Duke Carlo Emanuele II of Savoy who, in the mid-17th century, conceived the plan for the Reggia di Venaria and gave it this name.
Since 2007 it's completely renovated and open to the public we didn't go inside this time but we are planning to next time so I'll be back on this post as it's worth visiting and most of all Worth sharing.
